Clone Swamp Troopers were the scout troopers of the Galactic Republic. The 41st legion was under command of Commander Gree. These men had the armor of the later Imperial biker scout troopers, but their armor was camouflaged with a sort of muddy green color. The men carried DC-15 rifles and DC-15 blasters. The 41st division was often deployed with a planet's indigenous species, such as with the Wookiees in the Battle of Kashyyyk. The Swamp troopers had an array of ground vehicles such as the AT-AP walker, the AT-RT walker, and the Juggernaut. The 41st legion was brought to Kashyyyk by Jedi Master Yoda to assist the Wookiees against a Separatist droid attack. The 41st defended a beach head with the Wookiees that lead to a Wookiee village. However, when Palpatine ordered the execution of Order 66, the 41st's leader, Commander Gree was killed when he attempted to kill Yoda. He was decapitated before he could shoot. Shortly after the droids had been defeated, the swamp troopers turned on the Wookiees. This attack led to the Empire's occupation of Kashyyyk.
